2020
The dreaded word…Covid!
Tank and Skinny’s was known throughout the town for its delicious coffee, tasty snacks, and cozy atmosphere. But in 2020, the cafe had to close its doors for the year. Why, you ask? Well, it wasn’t because of a lack of customers or a shortage of ingredients. No, it was because of the biggest buzzkill of the year – COVID-19.

We’re Back
As masks were mandatory, we had to soldier on! The staff just loved their new item of clothing, the customers, on the other hand, struggled to drink their lattes without spilling all over their face coverings. It was like a game of coffee cup Jenga, with the masks adding an extra layer of difficulty.
Seating arrangements became a challenge, ensuring that all tables were at least six feet apart. This meant that the cosy atmosphere of Tank and Skinny’s had to take a back seat to social distancing. But, we made the most of it!
